Hidden in the narrow lanes of Vrindavan lies a beautiful, mystical garden known as Seva Kunj. This sacred grove is believed to be the exact location where Radha and Krishna performed the divine Raas Leela.

The Nightly Divine Dance

According to local belief, every night, Lord Krishna and Radha Rani visit Seva Kunj. It is said that all the trees and creepers in the garden transform into Gopis (cowherd girls) at night to participate in the Raas Leela.

The Mystery of the Creepers

If you visit Seva Kunj during the day, you will notice that the branches of the trees grow downwards towards the earth, almost as if they are bowing in reverence. There are no monkeys or birds in this garden at night, and the gates are locked to allow the divine couple their privacy.

'Seva' means service, and 'Kunj' means grove. This garden is dedicated to the mood of pure, unalloyed loving service to the Divine.
